When SiewPeng asked me to look at this billboard, I was really surprised. Of course the two kids are also part of the billboard, but the designer makes them in 3D shape. I can’t imagine what will happen if they were real kids.

I won’t be cheated again, but who knows what will happen in the future. They might use a 3D human figure that looks so real which moves on top of the billboard and waves its hand to get your attention.

Can you calculate how many billboards are there in the picture above?

There are really a lot of billboards along the highway somewhere between the toll plaza and the KLIA Airport. Further away from the toll plaza towards KL, the billboards are getting lesser until it reaches the KL area. Compare to Kuching, we can hardly see billboards like these. You should consider yourself lucky to spot one or two billboards in the city.

These large billboards give me a feeling that I am in a jungle of colourful world of steel. I think the people involved in designing these billboards must be creative enough so that the billboards can attract attention from everybody that passes the highway. At the same time, their design must not distract the driver’s attention. If there is a hot girl on the billboard, it’s actually creating a risk for the road users.
