We wanted to fixed it but we found that the time that we are going to spend is not worth it. we noticed that there is only less then 1% of visitors are using IE5, we decided NOT to fix the IE5 browser issue. We believe that those visitors with IE5 will have their browser updated in order to view many other websites.
Recently I have encountered that new PCs especially those are branded start to drop Windows XP support. Many hardware manufacturers do the same thing as well. They produce their product with Windows Vista support only. It’s not possible to downgrade to Windows XP unless there is a third party who can come out with the new drivers or someone is clever enough to tell everybody that actually the installed hardware is similar to a another older hardware.
I was frustrated when I can’t find the driver for newer PCs hardwares. But now I understand may be one of their reason is same as mine, “Don’t want to waste time dealing with outdated technologies.”
However, dear IE5 visitors, I still have to repeat again, you really need to upgrade your browser, it’s for your own good. ![]()
