It was about 5:45pm in a cloudy Sunday evening, SiewPeng and I were on the way going home after doing religious stuffs since 8:30am in the morning. I forgot to bring my driving license and SiewPeng became the driver. I discovered that passengers actually can see more things than a driver.
Somewhere near the traffic lights at Green Road (Kuching), we noticed the cloud in the sky look special, it was in spiral shape. The first thing that came to my mind was the cloud was similar to the pictures show in the news on Myanmar cyclone. Later when I look at this photo through computer, I saw there is a lion; can you find it out where the lion is?
A night before (Saturday), I drank 2 cups coffee at 7pm and 11pm because the expiry date of the instant coffee powder is almost over. I did not expect that I cannot sleep, but I can only sleep at 5am in the morning. I slept for about 2 hours only. I thought I will be very tired but that is not true, I stay awake for the whole day and did not feel tired at all and I can even go shopping with SiewPeng at Sunday night. The effect for the coffee lasted for 24 hours. Before I went to bed I also did not feel any tiredness. I slept as usual on Sunday night, and my body clock returned to normal on the next day. It’s weird. This is the first time I experienced such strong effect of the coffee.
I told myself, if I were sleeping while SiewPeng was driving, we may have missed the photo of the cloud. Sometimes I missed the chances to take a picture, because I was driving the car alone. Unless it is possible to stop down at the traffic light, but the time is usually limited.
I know it is not healthy taking too much coffee, but if it is necessary, I know what to do next time.

Follow-up comment rss or Leave a Trackbackhaha, for me, taking tea/coffee before 4pm will still be fine for the day’s sleep. so everytime i’ll look at the time first before making/drinking any
Haan, thanks for sharing your idea, next time I will remind myself before taking coffee.
These few days, I was having a sleepless night again, not because of the coffee or tea, but because of busy with the wesak day celebrations and preparation. I only slept for 15 minutes within 36 hours, but did not feel tired most of the time, except the 2 hours after the 15 minutes snap. Later I have a long enough sleep again to adjust my body clock back to normal, I slept from 2 am until 12 noon (10 hours) on the next day.
actually when u r lack of sleep for a day, few days of “more sleep” also hard to compensate
That’s very true for most of the cases, but it also depends on individual case and other factors such as food, medicine taken, temperature, level of light, metabolism rate, mentality and so on.
