The grasses were thin, stood straight beside a piece of a fat dark brown wood which was lying on the ground.

When I looked at them, I imagine that the grasses and the wood were an old couple, accompanying each other, sit quietly and enjoy every moment with each other. They cared about each other, shared everything in their life with each other.

How romantic. May be the feeling of romantics and surprises would reduce when a relationship aged, I am not sure because I have not reach that stage yet. But I am sure that the happiness, calmness, and peacefulness that brought by two person in a relationship will still be lasting.
I could easily see an old couple holding each others hand in public in Australia, but I never see it in Malaysia. Our culture here is different. I wonder until when will SiewPeng and I dare to hold each others hand while we are going everywhere into the eyesight of everybody. May be our culture in Malaysia will change in the next decade. We still hope that we can retire in Australia.

Follow-up comment rss or Leave a TrackbackYeah, Australian culture is more open than in Malaysia or maybe I mean is chinese culture. Well, I feel very warm heart everytime I see old couples holding hand and caring each other. However, I feel bit annoyed to see young couples kissing or hugging on street. Maybe I just a conservative people. -_-”
Kissing and hugging in public is too much for our culture. We also feel that it is annoying because what they did seems like they are trying to tell the whole world that everything is transparent except themselves. They do not respect the public.
