Can you see me in the picture above? Let me give you a clue. It is the roof of the lift in the hotel which we stayed in during our visit to Kuala Lumpur.  If you take a glance, it looks like a fence surrounding a building.  When you see through it, it looks like the sky and the little bit of light seems to be the sunlight.  But we were actually indoor and it is just glass.

This is the corridor outside the hotel rooms.  It may look narrow in the picture but it is actually quite wide and there is a window towards the end of the corridor.  However, the room that we stayed in has no window.  I’m not quite sure about the other rooms.  Maybe they are without windows as well.

I think having a window in the room is better because you can see the view outside and also are more alert to the time change.  We woke up late the next morning after the day of our arrival because there was no sunlight that shines into the room like how we have got used to.  It might also be because we were really exhausted.

The light in the room is quite special.  It doesn’t really give the best visibility after you have turned it on but the light shines in all direction creating a beautiful texture with the pattern of the wall.

It seems like someone has lighten up a flare in a cave.  Luckily there are other ordinary lights in the room so it wasn’t so bad after all.
