KL Trip 2008 - the Concrete Jungle 01

We enjoy viewing scenery from a very high place and we can spend hours looking at all the building structure, road, vehicles, trees, and any objects that can be seen.  In Kuching, we went to the Kuching Civic Center tower and took hundreds of photos, but we haven’t had the time to post it yet.  All the bird’s view from different angles are similar but unique.  If we compare the bird’s view of Kuching and KL, the main difference would be KL is really a concrete jungle and we can hardly find natural elements in green.

Due to astonishment, my mouth was wide opened while I was standing on the 5th tallest building in the world and looking at the amazing view and I asking myself, “how much effort have they put in to make such a developed city?”

It’s a good time to clear my mind while I am enjoing the view.

It’s just like stars in the night and it is not possible to calculate how many buildings are there.

There are trees in the concrete jungle in any sizes, any shapes and any colours.

There are also smaller plants in the concrete jungle like the moss, or grass and human beings are living inside.

Some of the plants has just started to grow.

Don’t forget, insects and creatures are crowling in the concrete jungle and they are really busy heading towards their destination.

The further I looked at, the blurer it was.  The visibility on that day was acceptable, but for the view of far objects, it seemed to be covered by a thin semi-transparent white cloth that is called the haze.  It must be the air pollution.

There are maps of KL hanging next to the viewing windows where visitors can compare the real things that they see with the map.  A few buildings are labelled.

Let me give my answer for the question that I have posted yesterday.  How are we going to look at KL Tower if we were standing on top of KL Tower?  Think carefully…  How are we going to look at ourselves?  The answer is using a mirror.  First solution, there may be other buildings that can reflect the the building that we are currently standing on.  Second solution, I believe at the other corner of the world or may be in the future, there may be a building with a mirror beside to reflect itself.  It is not as simple as mirror, it can be used for generating power from solar.  These are just from my imagination.

Do you wish to become a bird so you can fly freely and able to look at the scenery?  I like to view the scenery but I don’t want to become a bird.  :p
