I want to give the moon to my dearest SiewPeng.
Yes, I have done it, and I challenge those who are using DSLR to take similar photo as mine, I am not using DSLR but a semipro compact camera with high zoom power. I guess you will only be able to get closer than me to the moon if you have a 300mm lenses or a teleconvertor or higher resolution (megapixels) camera.
You can get higher detail if you spend a lot more than me to get a long telescopic lenses. My camera can only reach that quality, smaller detail cannot be seen, but since this is the first time I take such a clear picture of moon and know that where the rabbit on the moon is, I am very happy with my camera’s performance.
If you have read the comments of this post here, you know what camera I am using. I still haven’t ready to post about my new camera, because a lot of testing need to be done in order to write a review. But what I am very satisfied with the camera because of its speed, ease of control, and allow me to crop.
Shooting Detail: f/8, 1/160 sec, ISO 80, focal lense 100mm (equavalence to 560mm for 35mm camera), 10 Megapixel Superfine mode.
Post Shooting Editing: Cropped to moon sized, Adjusted RGB Curved.
Tips: Don’t let the moon over-expose, you won’t get any detail of the moon.
Next, I will pluck the stars from sky and give to SiewPeng. I LOVE YOU, SIEWPENG.
