- The tortoise was stretching. It closed its eyes half at the same time enjoyed sunbathing. It had not moved for quite sometime in this posture, I guess it felt relax and forgot about everything around it.

- “Do I look smart?” said tortoise B.

- “Delicious!!! I want some more.” said Tortoise C.
Once we entered the Sam Poh Tong gate, we were welcome by a lady selling Kangkong (a type local leave vetegable). The price is higher than in the market because here is a tourist spot, but we bought two bunches which cost RM2 to feed the tortoises.

- “Do you know what I am looking at?” asked tortoise D.

- A happy-go-lucky look.

- Tortoise tail.
There were many species of tortoises in this tortoise territory. Visitor are not allowed to enter that area. It is fenced. There is a pond for tortoises to swim.

We found that tortoises like to line-up.

They even lined up in the water.

They were not really hungry when we fed them. Half of them were not responding to the food that we threw to them. Someone must had feed them earlier than us. However, they can finish two bunches of Kangkong in a few minutes.

- The tortoises swam to get out of the water through a staircase.

- This is their staircase.

- This is the tortoises territory.
We saw a few tortoises did not move themselves into the water using their staircase. They jump directly from the border which is at least 1 foot higher than the water level. We heard the sound of water splashing. It must be funny and interesting if a tortoise can perform springboard diving.
