This is a decorated boat from a hypermarket in Kuching.

Its reflection in the water.  It was the head of a hornbill (a big bird that can be found in Borneo).

Another boat (by Pusaka) with a man-made tree.

Let’s zoom in to see the tree, the real Fort Margherita was right behind the tree.

This is the most colourful and the most active decorated boat I have seen (by Naim).

It moved forward, backward, dancing on the river.  It also played hot music.  The passenger on the boat were waving hands to the people at Waterfront.

Besides that, this boat had a big butterfly as the head of the boat.

I guess this boat was opened to public to get on board, but we did not try.

At the top of this boat, someone was blowing the bubbles.  I used the highest ISO (fastest speed setting) on my camera to take the photo of the bubbles.

A bit blur but I can see even more bubbles.

The bubbles had became lines, and the person with red shirt was waving to call someone.  If there is a competition, this boat will be my No.1.

This boat looked similar but not as noisy and active.

There were 2 big pictures on the boat, picture on the right showing the multi-cultures of Sawarak, whereas on the left was the picture of our silver-haired Chief Minister of Sarawak, Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri (DR) Haji Abdul Taib Mahmud.

Siew Peng with the decorated boats.

This will be the last post for the decorated boats.  We have missed out a lot of things actually such as the Regatta (boat race), but I have taken a lot of photos at the waterfront which I will show you in the next post.
