My car timing belt broke again in 1 year and 3 months with millage of 15k km only. :( Everybody said that it is impossible!!!

- A 15-months old timing belt.
It happened about 2 months ago, and I had to spent RM1.2k to fix it again. This time I called another workshop to fix it and found out that the previous timing belt was brandless (as seen on these pictures). A branded timming belt should have words on it printed in red and a starter mark in white line.
I wanted to go back to the previous workshop to claim for my losses, but my father stopped me because that mechanic is my relative’s relative… Then who is going to pay me back the money. !@!#! My father just said that next time don’t go there again.

Last year, I reminded my readers to check on their car’s timing belt, this year I remind again plus you must get a reliable workshop to do it, and make sure they use a good quality timing belt kit.
Do you want to spend extra RM50 to RM200 on a good timing belt, or you want to send your car spending nights in a workshop for a week for engine overhaul, replacing bent valves, pistons, cylinder heads etc or even replacing the whole engine.
Spend small amount of money to save a big amount of money.
Both times happened on Friday but not on the 13th. Both times happened right before the traffic light when I pressed hard on the accelerator, the sound like the bulb exploded and my heart jumped out too. Luckily this time it happened at night while the traffic was not heavy and did not cause a traffic jam. Thanks to a restaurant that let me parked my car overnight in his carpark, because I have to wait until the next day for towing. Otherwise my car would have to sleep beside the road.
