Days ago, I plucked a rose and gave it to SiewPeng. SiewPeng put it on the table beside her computer. After a few days, it was becoming getting drier and drier but not 100% dried. I decided to take its picture in my simple and newly-made mini studio lightbox.

With the extra brightness from the lightbox, I can minimize the apeature (use larger F stop) to increase the depth of field because I wanted the whole flower in focus. :D I can see the detail of each petal.

This is how my lightbox look like. Should I call it a lightbox or there is another name for it? It is not a box, but just a piece of paper as the background and a 30W energy saving lamp. I use it to control the lighting direction instead of using natural light that comes in from my room’s windows as I did before.
I found that if I use a black cloth as the background, the background is not totally dark and sometimes there were reflection. I am still finding solution for this problem. If you know the answer, please tell me, okay?
