While waiting for the lift in the hotel, I had taken some photos from the windows at the end of the corridor near the lift.
Once I looked out of the windows, I found that there was a monorail track outside the windows at a lower level. The monorail has been our main transport in KL, and its nearest station is just about 5 minutes walk from the hotel we were staying.
The slow lift was still not open, I took some more photos.

I could see the KL Tower from the windows as well. We went there last year and have a bird view of KL above 400 meters. I never took a picture of this tall building in night mode, the lift-waiting moment was my chance.

Zoomed in to the KL tower.

Zoom to the max at 560mm. (and cropped a bit)

We could also see the KLCC Petronas Twin Tower partially, it was blocked by a tall building.

Well, I have not mentioned which hotel we were staying, and I do not have to tell you because I think you can guess it. The service given to us was quite poor. The check-in process was slow, and the receptionist gave us the room which was occupied by someone else, luckily when we opened the room, on one was inside, we just saw some baggages that belong to the other guest. Immediately, I returned the key card. The receptionist did something to the key and told me to go to another room. Terrible!!!
He neither felt sorry nor expressed a single word of apology.
We took the lift up again and tried to open the new room given to us, opss… the room cannot be opened. Once again, we went down to the receptionist, he repeated his job by doing something to the card. I warned him that it was the second time I was going up and down. He asked a security guard to come with us.
Again, he did not even feel that it is bad for us to go up and down for the second time already.
The security guard could not help too because the door was still unable to be opened. He asked us to wait outside our door and took away our key card. While we were waiting, the guest where his room was accidentally opened by us just now came back, and he could not open his room as well. He is a foreigner, and we saw him talked to his friend next door and he headed to the lift and most probably to the receptionist to get his door opened.
After 10 minutes of waiting, the security guard appeared, and finally we could get into our room, the whole process took more than 30 minutes. That was the longest check-in process that we have ever encountered. And not a sorry from the hotel staff. The security guard told us that the receptionist is a trainee. !!! Bad experience.
Another incident was we had a blackout in our room. Another long story… …
I prefer to make a proper written complaint instead of verbal which might be useless, but the “Contact Us” page on their website show me ,”Server Error in ‘/’ Application. Could not load file or assembly ‘BasicFrame.WebControls.BasicDatePicker’ or one of its dependencies. There is not enough space on the disk. (Exception from HRESULT: 0×80070070)”.

As I always believe, anything that happened to us is related to our mind.
A few days before we departed to KL, we watched a tv show - “Howie Do It” (a Canadian/American series) that similar to Just for Laughs or Candid Camera. Howie deceived a couple who bought tickets to go up a tall building to view the scenery. Howie gave all kinds of reasons to that couple when they arrived at the observation deck of the tall building and made them took the lift up and down, up and down for at least 4 times.
First, the tickets were not stamped, the couple went down to the ticket seller and went up again. It was a tall building (might be the tallest) in Canada, and it took a few minutes to reach the top again.
Second time, the ticket colour code was not valid.
Third, the session has expired etc… …
Forth, I have forgotten the reasons given.
And the couple had to take the lift each time going down to the ticket seller to solve the problem. It was a joke and finally revealed to the couple. Funny…
I had a bad feeling that it might happen to us too. And a few days later, the receptionist at the hotel made us took the lift up and down for at least 3 times. :O

This is the window at the corridor, near the lift. The handle was broken. Same thing happened to the window in our room.

This hotel is full of advertisements everywhere. From the lift, to the toilet in our room. The advertisement reflected on the windows while I took the photos, therefore, I had to put my camera out of the windows to take some of the photos.

SiewPeng and Colin at T_n_ Hotel.
Another funny thing about the hotel is, the lift in this hotel cannot reach the 7th floor, it can only reach up to the 6th floor only. We saw a few foreigners carrying their big baggages walking up the staircase from the 6th floor to the 7th floor.
In the lift, there is a big button which is not working but with the words written on it,”Use staircase at 6th floor to access 7th floor”. It would be the funniest lift I have ever seen.
Basically, my comment on the services given is generally acceptable especially for cleaning, but below average for the receptionist’s attitude.
