A flamingo’s bill is in light pink and black with an artistic line in between the upper bill and the lower bill.  Its eyes seem to be relatively small.

The flamingoes appear in a big group,  some of them are in light red, with red eyes and red bills.

Flamingoes have joints on their legs, just like human, they can kneel down, but in the backwards direction.

Stand with one leg can get a better balancing, do you agree?

This pelican has a fashionable hair style.

The bill of the pelican is as long as its neck.

Yellow-billed stork.

Southern Ground-Hornbill is also a fish eater.

The Ground-Hornbills (Bucorvinae) are a subfamily of the hornbill family Bucerotidae.  Ground hornbills are large, with adults around a metre tall. Both species are ground-dwelling, unlike other hornbills. They can be very long-lived.

Let’s look at the different hair styles of these birds.  They are similar because of their long yellow bill, but their hair styles help us to identify which species they are.  I did not note down their names.

Birds that catch fish as their food always have long and sharp claws on their feet.  Their claws look like a monster’s claws.

Flamingoes are my favorite in the bird park.  Their necks are long, and can be curled.  The size of a greater flamingo is about 120 - 140 cm, whereas a lesser flamingo is about 80 cm.

There are 2 areas in the bird park where the flamingoes can be found.  First at the Flamingo Pond (zone 2), second one at Waterfall Aviary (zone 4)

While resting, flamingoes stand on one foot, and their heads curled into their backs.

This is the Scarlet Ibis.  It is in red and can easily attract attention even from far away.

Freshwater birds usually have long necks, large bodies, long legs, strong and specialized bills. These adaptations make them well-suited to their wetland habitats. These birds eat fish, amphibians, and other small water creatures.

Cattle Egret has a yellow bill.

This is a Great White Pelican.  I guess it is the largest water bird in the park.  Its size is 160 cm.  Its bill, especially the lower bills is huge compared to other birds.  It has a cool hair style.

The pelicans stood on rocks looking at other birds and cleaning their feathers.  Look at the pelicans’ feet, they look like a duck’s feet.

This is the Black Swan.

This is the Yellow-Bill Stork.

This stork stood in the stream, and was eating a fish.  It looked lonely, because it did not want to share the food with his friends.

This is the stream at the Waterfall Aviary (zone 4).

This is another mini waterfall at the Flamingo Pond (zone 2).
