Again, we had another flight from East to West Malaysia. But this is the first time we have a camwhore session (taking picture of ourselves) at the airport and on the aircraft.

There was not enough space on the aircraft to straighten my hand, most of the deleted photos were our big head photos. This one is a better photo.

We have a “take two” for this angle, which I told SiewPeng to open our eyes bigger because our eyes looked small in the previous take.

We stepped our feet on the aircraft.
Before that, it seems that we have had a long wait. So I just took out my camera and start shooting at the departure hall. I found that someone was taking out her camera too. She has a DSLR. I can feel that more and more people are using DSLR now, but not me.

When this plane was arriving, everybody stood up and started queuing.

This is a plane from JetStar. I wish I can take other airlines instead of only the red coloured one. Most of the time (but not all the time), the airline in red suits our journey and gave us the lowest fare.

See!!! They use red umbrellas as well to match their theme. We were lucky because it did not rain, but the aircraft crew has prepared some umbrellas, just in case it suddenly rained or there were someone who afraid of the sunlight.

In KIA (Kuching International Airport), sometimes when it rained we had a chance to use the bridge that can connect to the aircraft directly. Other times, we can only walk to the aircraft parking area and climb up a big portable staircase aircraft in order to get on board.

The vehicle next to this man can only be found in airports, I think.

The staffs was busy when an airplane has just arrived.

We checked in our flight quite early and we arrived at the departure hall before the another same destination flight which departed about an hour earlier than our flight. If we jumped into that flight, we would have arrived about an hour earlier. We kept on waiting and waiting. Someone start queuing, but we remain seated, until we saw the the aircraft come.
Usually, the flight number from / to Kuching and KL start with AK 52xx, but our flight number is AK 95Xx. I guess it is either an extra flight for this peak holiday season, or it is a newly scheduled flight.

After a 1 hour and 45 minutes flight, we reached LCCT. We did not see our flight number on the baggage belt, and suddenly a person appeared and shouted, “From Kuching, here (the second belt).” I wonder whether he has to shout everytime the display panel is not working, or this was the only time the display failed and caused him to do that.
I have more stories to tell you after we reached the hotel. Stay tuned!
