Seed in the Sky 01

This plant has bloomed and produced a lot of seeds.  The branch full of seeds in green has high contrast with the sky in blue.  With my camera in my hand, I quickly took the photos while this plants swung intensely in the sky.

It is called “Mat Cao” in some Chinese Dialects such as Hakka, Hokkien and Teochew.  The leaves make it look like wild plants or weeds, but it has a little nice smell.  Some Chinese believe that it can chase away evil spirits.

When the seeds are all ripen, this section will turn into brown, and a lot of little black dots will drop from each of the bud.

Have you seen this plants before?  This time I can’t find its scientific name from the Internet.  I do not know what keywords should I use to search for it.  ”Mat Cao” is not a good keyword for searching engine because it does not give me the search results that I want.
