We walked on the inner part of the Bathers Beach and we reached this staircase.  Walking up the staircase, there is the oldest public building in Western Australia called “Round House“.

The Round House is not big, but the surrounding open area was wider, where visitors can look at the Bathers Beach from a higher location.

Since it was too hot, and we forgot to bring our cap, we blocked the sun using an umbrella.  I believe no one else was using an umbrella there.

The Round House was build in 1830 and opened in 1831.  It is about 180 years old.  It was used as a prison.

I noticed there is a glass door at one of the corner of the Round House.  I guest it might not the original door installed 180 years ago.  Tell me about it if you know.
