This is the most colourful fountain in Kuching Waterfront currently. The rest are in orange only or with no lights on which make them colourless.
The square tower is surrounded by 6 rectangular fountain pools. The square tower is lower compared to the surrounding and there are staircases on both sides. If you have been there, look carefully and imagine if there were no fountain pools, the square tower seems to be partially buried in the ground.
The exposure time of this tall shooting fountain was 8 seconds, and my camera took another 8 seconds to process and store this image.
This colourless fountain is on the west of the Square Tower. The bulbs might have burned out. With the lights from the square tower, it appears very light in the photo even though I switched on the shutter for 15 seconds.
How nice would it be if the fountain can work properly like many years ago, where all of them are colourful and dance according to the rhythm of the classical music. Hopefully some maintenance would be done on the soundless “musical” fountains.
