We usually buy cabbage which has been cut into half because the whole cabbage is too big for us to finish within one week.

Sometimes we buy purple cabbage which makes our plates turn purple, when SiewPeng transforms them into one of our dishes for lunch or dinner.

Yes, it contains different nutrients and mineral which are important to our health.

:p Most importantly, when it is cut into half, it gives good colour contrast on its lines to show its beauty created naturally and randomly.

We found kumato in a hypermarket some time ago, but we didn’t buy it until I read from Wikipedia that it contains more fructose which makes it sweeter than other tomatoes.  So we gave it a try.

The kumato that we bought has greenish brown colour.

It is smaller than the orange-coloured ‘normal’ tomato that we bought last week.

We bought a pack of six in a box.

When I have taken their photos inside my light box, and was halfway writting this post, I noticed that I have forgotten to take the photos of the inner look.  I quickly cut one of the kumatoes into pieces, arranged them on the cutting board, and tasted it.

SiewPeng and I found that it is not as sweet as we expected, but not as sour as normal orange-coloured tomato.

When I go jogging, I usually take note of special plants or animals and beautiful views.  And if possible, I will try to take their pictures and share them here with everyone.

Well, during this particular jog that I had, I saw a mother and her son.  The child was probably around 2 to 3 years of age.  They were walking and suddenly he started to pull the edge of his mother’s blouse.  He was ignored.  So he did it again.  This time, she turned around and asked him what happened.

He did not say a word but pointed to the direction where he had left one of his shoes behind.  She looked towards that direction and reprimanded the child for not telling her earlier that his shoe had dropped.

I don’t think that I have to elaborate more on the situation.  He did try to tell her but she ignored him.  And this is just a small matter but let’s think about what if it was something much more serious?  Do you still think that ignorance is a bliss?

One morning when I was jogging at the park, I overheard a mother teaching her child to count as I was walking behind them.  The child was naive and very keen to learn.  She was holding her mother’s hand and they were walking slowly hand in hand while she was counting from number 191.  After she reached 199, she said 100-100 (one-hundred-one-hundred) instead of 200.

Although it was not a correct answer but her mother still reacted in a positive way and told her the right way to count.  She gave her praises and encouragement and her tone was full of joy and happiness.  The atmosphere was so calm and positive.

Parents play a very important role in a child’s development.  It determines how they handle and react to different matters when they grow up.  Do you agree?

In the last post, we showed you our encounter with the big butterfly as we were walking along the new walkway.  Today, we are showing you some of the views. :)  Let the journey begins!  First, we are welcomed by flags at the entrance.

We enjoyed walking on the walkway.  It is fully air-conditioned except the entrance but as you walk slightly further, you will start to feel the gentle breeze coming towards you as you make way through it.

We read from newspaper that this walkway is 562 meter long and 5 meter width, but we didn’t feel the distance at all.  The view from the walkway, and the new look of the environment distract us from feeling that it is half a kilometer.

It is a total different experience where we walk from KLCC to Bukit Bintang few weeks before it was launched.  Walking outside on footpath made us sweat under the hot sun, and we had to look left and right whenever we needed to cross a road.  Whereas now, we can enjoy walking in the cold air and enjoy the scenery on the walkway bridge.

Nuts and bolts!  Strong enough to withstand storms and protect the pedestrians so that we can do our shopping or sight seeing safe and sound.  Haha!

A carpark, but not too sure about its exact location.

Both Malaysians and foreigners benefit from the convenience that the walkway brings.

It saves us a lot of time and gives us shade from the hot sun and rain.
