In Chinese, it is called Tiger Tail Plant.
In English, it is called Mother-in-law’s Tongue or Snake Plant.
Its actual scientific name is called Sansevieria trifasciata.

Sansevieria trifasciata is an air filtering plant that can absorb poisonous substances in the air.  You can put it in your living room not only for decoration, but can inprove the air quality. 

Sansevieria trifasciata requires minimum care, you can plant it easily even you do not have green fingers.  It only needs to be watered once a week or longer for indoor.  However, I suggest you to let it go outdoor for few day sometime to let it grow better and faster.  It is a good idea if you get 2 sets of Sansevieria trifasciata where you can swap them, one indoor, and one outdoor.  You can swap them anytime you want.

I have got 4 varieties of Sansevieria trifasciata at the moment.
1.  Long Green.
2.  Short Green.
3.  Medium Yellow.
4.  Short Yellow.

I have propagated the Long Green and the Medium Yellow.  Now I have about 15 plants for each type in my stock for sales.  I will sell them at RM5 each.  Let me know if you are interested.

Both flowers below are the same species, the only different is the colour in the middle part. 

Lantana is our favorite flower.  We have collected 6 different colours lantana.  SiewPeng is going to tell you more about Lantana in the later post.  The following is a yellow Lantana.

This is a type of plant that grow in the water.

These are fruits of “Hokkien Tea”.  Does it catch your eyes?  The fruits are nothing special except the contrast of colour of both fruits

First picture was taken in Toowoomba, Australia in 2002 when I was studying in USQ.  Everytime I see this picture, I will recall my bicycle i used to ride eveywhere, from the uni campus, to town, and to the beautiful parks.  One of my dreams is to visit Toowoomba again.

 I have cut a picture of a tree into 3 pieces, it was taken somewhere near tabletop, Toowoomba.  Did you notice that they are actually different parts of the picture?  I added one more item in my dreams list.  I will bring my dream camera to visit Toowoomba again with Siew Peng and take as many picture as I want.

Few months ago, in a hot Saturday afternoon, I have spilt some water on the floor from my drink because I ran too fast toward the TV when I was carrying a cup of water.  I noticed the sun light came from an angle into the living room, I suddenly told myself I should take this picture.

Do you know what are the name for these flowers?  I have them in my home garden.  My dream is to make my garden to have more flowers, especially jasmines and roses.  I will plants more and more, until I can smell the jasmine flower everywhere in my house.

My Dream Camera is Canon PowerShot S6 IS.  It is not released yet, but I hope that it will be released in 2008.

Started from 2005, I had been keeping an eye on Canon PowerShot S2 IS until Canon released PowerShot S3 IS.  At that time, my dream camera was PowerShot S5 IS which I expected it would be released in 2008.  But who knows Canon skipped PowerShot S4 IS and launched PowerShot S5 IS in this year.  Therefore I still sticked on my dream that I want to have PowerShot S6 IS in 2008. 

Canon PowerShot S1/S2/S3 and S5 IS are high-power-zoom prosumer digital camera.  I wish to have the latest model in this series because of the experience that I have got from using Olympus C740 which is also a high-power-zoom prosumer digicam (10X).

Prosumer stands for Professional Consumer.  A prosumer camera allow me to have manual control of the camera which I need to practise my photography skill.  Please look at my previous post - Light in the Night for more special effect photos, and you will understand.  A compact camera doesn’t allow me to produce this kind of pictures.

I am currently using Olympus C740 and satisfied with it performance.  I have just finished discovering, studying and getting used to all the features, functions and buttons etc.  SiewPeng also told me that If I have got the Canon PowerShot now, the Olympus camera will be very sad. 

One of my friends told me that I should actually get a DSLR, but I think it is too bulky, and I have to change the lenses all the time.  Now it’s not the time for me to get a DSLR, I will practice my photography skill using a Prosumer + High-Power-Zoom DigiCam first, before I get a DSLR. 

A DSLR will be in my dream items list after I have improved my photography skill.
